Internship: QHSE Study for Battery Module Assembly

Support the structuring of our battery module prototype production workshop

You will be involved in the QHSE improvement of the prototype workshop activities, covering quality, safety, and environmental protection.

The primary objective is to identify and prepare the implementation of QHSE best practices in anticipation of larger-scale manufacturing phases. A secondary objective is to analyze and prescribe actions required to comply with EU Regulation 2023/1542, specifically regarding monitoring obligations and targets for battery carbon footprint and recyclability.

Your Missions

  • Collaborate with the team to conduct audits of the various battery module assembly stations and the overall assembly flow.

  • Identify areas for improvement to be addressed.

  • Propose action plans across three pillars:

    • Quality: Defining records and documentation.

    • Safety: Managing battery-related risks.

    • Environment: Waste management.

  • Participate in and monitor the implementation of these action plans.

  • Lead the analysis of EU Regulation 2023/1542.

  • Identify specific actions required to ensure compliance with this regulation.

  • Education: Final-year internship for an Engineering degree specializing in QHSE system implementation.

  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork skills, ability to explain complex topics, and persuasiveness.

  • Adaptability: Open-mindedness required to learn new fields and regulatory frameworks.

  • Communication: Fluent in written and oral communication, including English.

  • Mindset: Pragmatic and hands-on approach.

  • Duration: 6-month internship.

  • Location: Brest, France.

  • Compensation: €1,000 gross monthly allowance + meal vouchers (tickets restaurant).
