Internship: Improving Design Data Management and Product Lifecycle to Anticipate Serial Production – Breft, France
Your mission
Build internal workflows (design, validation, production release), customize the PDM, and automate key stages of the product lifecycle.

PDM/PLM Implementation Internship (Siemens Teamcenter & NX)

As part of our industrial activity structuring, we are deploying a PDM/PLM solution based on Siemens Teamcenter and NX to optimize product data management and automate design-to-production processes.

The objective of this internship is to build our internal workflows (design, validation, production release), customize the PDM to align with these flows, and automate key stages of the product lifecycle.

Main Missions

Supervised by the Production Manager and working closely with the design team:

  • Analyze and model internal design, industrialization, and manufacturing processes.

  • Define the PDM structure (Teamcenter): BOMs, revisions, statuses, roles, and access rights.

  • Customize validation workflows (design reviews, production release, change management).

  • Automate the generation of technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, manufacturing sheets).

  • Optimize Teamcenter ↔ NX integration: CAD templates (3D, drafting), NX & Teamcenter configurations.

  • Support deployment preparation: testing, documentation, and user training.

Your profile
  • Education: Engineering student (Mechanical, Production, or Industrial IT) or specialized training in production management.

  • Knowledge: Proficiency in production management, industrial methods, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

  • Technical Skills: Previous experience with CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).

  • Interests: Strong interest in the digitization of industrial processes (PDM, ERP, automation).

  • Soft Skills: Structured mindset, autonomy, and a drive for implementing collaborative tools.

  • Duration: 4 to 6-month internship.

  • Location: Brest, France.

    Internship: QHSE Study for Battery Module Assembly – Brest, France
    Your mission
    Support the structuring of our battery module prototype production workshop

    You will be involved in the QHSE improvement of the prototype workshop activities, covering quality, safety, and environmental protection.

    The primary objective is to identify and prepare the implementation of QHSE best practices in anticipation of larger-scale manufacturing phases. A secondary objective is to analyze and prescribe actions required to comply with EU Regulation 2023/1542, specifically regarding monitoring obligations and targets for battery carbon footprint and recyclability.

    Your Missions

    • Collaborate with the team to conduct audits of the various battery module assembly stations and the overall assembly flow.

    • Identify areas for improvement to be addressed.

    • Propose action plans across three pillars:

      • Quality: Defining records and documentation.

      • Safety: Managing battery-related risks.

      • Environment: Waste management.

    • Participate in and monitor the implementation of these action plans.

    • Lead the analysis of EU Regulation 2023/1542.

    • Identify specific actions required to ensure compliance with this regulation.

    Your profile
    • Education: Final-year internship for an Engineering degree specializing in QHSE system implementation.

    • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork skills, ability to explain complex topics, and persuasiveness.

    • Adaptability: Open-mindedness required to learn new fields and regulatory frameworks.

    • Communication: Fluent in written and oral communication, including English.

    • Mindset: Pragmatic and hands-on approach.

    • Duration: 6-month internship.

    • Location: Brest, France.

    • Compensation: €1,000 gross monthly allowance + meal vouchers (tickets restaurant).
